He is survived by: his wife Alicia Perez; his children, Noelia "Nobea" Handy (Oscar "Sonny"), Araceli "Celi" Perez and Robert Perez; his grandchildren, Sarah and Joshua Handy; and his sisters, Anna P. Villarreal (Cosme), Beatrice P. Rodriguez and Margarita Perez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
