He is survived by: his wife San Juanita "Emma" Guajardo; his mother Maria Guadalupe Elizalde (Olivarez); his children, Fatima Placensia, Alexandra Elizalde, Matthew Elizalde and Justin Jacob "JJ" Elizalde; his granddaughter Alayna Elizalde; his siblings, Hermelinda Arredondo (Norman), Eduardo Elizalde and Ernesto Elizalde (Dalia); and his siblings-in-law, Melissa Esquivel, Melinda Guajardo Garza and Juan Tobias.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McCaleb Funeral Home (900 W 4th St, Weslaco, TX 78596). A rosary will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (306 S Salinas Blvd, Donna, TX 78537). A burial will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Palm Valley Memorial Gardens (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577).
