He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Fields and Leonard Fields; and his brother Michael Fields. He is survived by: his wife Donna Woodard Fields; his children, Tiffany Meier (Stephen), Lisa Cheek (Jamie) and Jeffrey Fields (Taylor); his siblings, Donald Fields and Linda Smith; and his grandchildren, Lawson Cheek, Matthew Meier, Jonathan Meier, Henry Cheek, Owen Cheek, Mabel Fields and Maude Fields. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be made to South Garland Baptist Church in honor of David Fields.
