She was predeceased by: her husband Higinio Cortez; and her siblings, Irene Del Angel, Tereza Hernandez and Teodora Hernandez. She is survived by: her children, Jose Romero, Veronica Romero, Emilia Gonzalez, Rosaura Hernandez, Berabe Hernandez and Pedro Hernandez; and her siblings, Bacilia Hernandez, Lidio Hernandez and Clario Hernandez.
