He was predeceased by: his parents, Porfirio Benavides and Simona G. Benavides. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Carreon Benavides; and his children, Cesario Benavides Jr., Thomas Benavides, Marisol Benavides, Joe Benavides, Barbara Escobedo and Amy Benavides. He is also survived by 6 sisters and 3 brothers as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
