He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Nieto and Jesusa Alaniz Nieto; and his brothers, Rudy Nieto, Delmar Nieto, Pete Nieto, Fidel Pichardo, Sotero Pichardo and Juan Nieto.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pedro Nieto II, Ramon Nieto, Nolverto Nieto, Lupe Nieto Maria Mendez, Paula Benavides, Fred Nieto and Alicia Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
