She was predeceased by: her parents, Eunice Damron and Clarence "Jack" Oldham; her husband Carl Avery Weed; her sisters, Linda Beth Vaughan and Alice Pate; and her former husband James Dodson Brake, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandson Avery; her daughter Kari Rebekah Weed; her grandson Samuel Avery Vincent Ramirez; and her nieces, Amy Beth Thomason and Lucy Schultz.
