It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minerva McCelvey of Dilley, Texas, born in Christine, Texas, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney W. Swaim and Willie Swaim (Franklin); her brothers, Roddy Swaim and Franklin Swaim; and her sons, Lynn McCelvey and Brett McCelvey.
She is survived by: the father of her children Rex McCelvey; her grandchildren, Cassidy Williams (Cole), Lyndsey Smith (Koy), B. J. McCelvey (Lindsey), Justin McCelvey, Landon McCelvey (Briana), J. R. McCelvey, Charlie McCelvey (Maria) and Wesley McCelvey; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Avery, Ryder, Rhody, Leighton, Molly, Logan, Krue, James, Wyatt, Thorin, Hayes, Brodi, Demi, Everly, Grayson, Adalyn and Walker; her daughter-in-law Dasha McCelvey; and her sister Ann Pinion (Larry).
