He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Cantu and Ruben Cantu; and his grandchild Angel Cantu. He is survived by: his wife Maria Elena Cantu; his children, Jennifer Rae Cantu (Pablo), Juan Ruben Cantu Jr. (Chelsea), Jaleesa Renee Cantu and Julian Ryan Cantu (Jada); his grandchildren, Jayden, Zaydran, Jaydran, Zayda, Jaydlynn, Jenna, Zendaya, Saul, Kingston, Jaeleana, Jaevryn and Baby Ortiz; and his sisters, Dina Guajardo, Ruby Hicks, Debbie Cantu, Mirri DuBose and Juanita Duran. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
