It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gonzalo G. Torres of Dilley, Texas, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Garcia Torres and Aciano Torres; his son Nicky Torres; and his siblings, Andres G. Torres, Eulalio G. Torres, Maria G. Torres and Geronimo G. Torres.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Torres; his children, Denise Boyd, Reynaldo Soto, Maria Martinez, Emma Lee Soto, Danny Soto and Magdalena Monrreal; and his siblings, Jose G. Torres, Anna M. Salazar (Carlos), Lucy T. Martinez (Samuel), Pedro G. Torres (Melinda), Manuela T. Zapata, Janie T. Charles, Lupe Torres, Aciano Torres Jr. (Angie) and Jesus Torres. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren 1 great-grand child, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (114 E Frio St, Dilley, TX 78061). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
