Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gilberto leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe Lozano Jr. and Agapita Guajardo; and his brother Rene Lozano. He is survived by: his daughter Lea Lotoya Lozano; his stepson Adam Sanchez; and his siblings, Alejandro Lozano, Ester Lozano Elizondo, Maria Lozano Banda and Elena Valdez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (114 E Frio St, Dilley, TX 78061). A rosary was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
