He was predeceased by: his parents, Florencio Cantu and Enriquetta Lozano Cantu; and his brother Elizar Cantu. He is survived by: his children, Veronica "Ronnie" Culberson (Michael) of San Antonio, Joseph Cantu (Nelly) of Edinburg, Moses Cantu (Elia) of San Antonio, Roseann Rodriguez of Dallas and Claudia Cantu of Dilley; and his siblings, Oscar Cantu (Linda), Omega Cantu, Rosalinda Cantu, Lilian Cantu, Ercilia Segovia (Noel), David Cantu (Maria) and Gilbert Cantu (Mari). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
