He is survived by: his children, Alfredo Aranda (Diana), Fidel Aranda (Morelsa), Delia Aranda Sambrano (Johnny), Maria Yolanda Aranda (Dagoberto Olivarez), Jesus "Chuy" Aranda (Abelinda) and Catarino Aranda II (Brandi); and his siblings, Dominga Martinez and Ramon Aranda. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren 3 great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapels (208 E Leona St, Dilley, TX 78017). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (114 E Frio St, Dilley, TX 78061).
