He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford "Jay" Merrell and Nina Lucille Stubblefield; and his brother Montgomery Merrell. He is survived by: his wife Aundrea Cleaver; his sons, Doug Merrell (Elaine), Timothy C. Merrell (Kimi) and Michael Cleaver; his grandchildren, Logan Merrell, Dustin Merrell, Timothy B. Merrell, Morgan Blackmon, Maci Merrell, Marissa Raies, Aiden Cleaver, Madison Williams and Tessa Robinson Merrell; his great grandchildren, Emma Williams, Reagan Williams and Adelyn Raies; and his siblings, Timothy J. Merrell and Jayne Merrell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital.
