It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Deaton (Dike, Texas), born in Sulphur Bluff, Texas, who passed away on April 3, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Deaton and Myrtle Chapman Deaton; and his siblings, James Earl and Dora Ann Deaton. He is survived by: his wife Moverine; his daughters, Melinda Deaton of Dike, TX and Amy Lowrie of Malakoff, TX; his grandchildren, Payton Lowrie of Malakoff, TX and Laura Jones; his siblings, Bill Deaton (Greta), Larry Don Deaton (Judy) and Jo Ruth Hodge (Bill) of Sulphur Springs; and his significant other Joe Elmore of Dike.
