He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest and Jessie Mae Goodson; his daughter Jeannie Hargrave; and his brother Glenn Goodson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Brenda White (Jimmy), Sharon Wright (Timothy), Earl Goodson (Ruby) and David Goodson (Vickie); his sisters, Dorothy Hillis and Martha Rutledge; and also Vernon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
