It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Thomas Chappuis (Dike, Texas), born in Homestead, Florida, who passed away on August 2, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward R. Chappuis and Juanita Yarbrough Calhoun; his brother Edward Chappuis Jr.; and his daughter Amy Carter. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kevin Chappuis of Dike, Doug Chappuis III of Galveston, Johnny Chappuis of Eagleton and Galinda Chappuis; his brother Wayne Calhoun of Bacliff; and his grandchildren, Ronny, Ashley, Carter, Naomi, Kevin and Colton. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
