She was predeceased by: her parents, Mason Overshown and Johnnie Overshown; her siblings, Lee Overshown and Ola Overshown; and her granddaughter Thierry Leonard.
She is survived by: her son Patrick Thomas, Sr. (Tracey) of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Tyrice Thomas Leonard (Torrance) of Dickinson, Texas, Tanis Thomas Whitstone (Collin), Patrick Thomas, Jr., Ka'Brelle Thomas Chenier (Elijah), Furqani, Journi Leonard and Telory Leonard; her great grandchildren, Trey Thomas and Kairo Chenier; and her siblings, Joyce Woodson of Alvin and Bennie Overshown of Texas City, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carnes Funeral Home - CTC (3100 Gulf Fwy, Texas City, TX 77591). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Post Oak Cemetery.
