He was predeceased by: his father Roy Turner; and his grandparents, Paul, Genevieve Ryon, George and Mattie Turner.

He is survived by: his mother Ellen Carol Turner; his sister Paula Griffith; his brother-in-law Ronald Griffith; his nieces, Alecia Alcocer (Mando) and Andrea Griffith; and his pet Binky. He is also survived by three great nieces, three great nephews.
