She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Bernice (Loving) and Elbert Lee Johnson; her son Billy P. Day; and her brothers, Norris "Pete" Johnson, Raymond L. Johnson and Robert L. Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond Day of Dickinson; her children, Raymond M. Day of Dickinson and Doris "Sissy" Swafford (Kevin) of Porum, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Bridget Day-Torres, Allen Goekler, Billy Ryan Day, Lauren Goekler and Paula Cooper; and her siblings, Paul Johnson of Santa Fe and Joyce Davis of Lufkin. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
