With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Schmidt of Dickinson, Texas, born in Chandler, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorne A. F. Morris and Lillie B. Morris; and her brother-in-law David Dingman (Gene). She is survived by: her husband Gene L. Schmidt; her daughter-in-law Lisa; her sister Ruth Dingman; her nephew Brian Dingman (Michelle); her niece Lisa Marsh (Terry); her great-nephew George; her children, John Edge (Bonnie), Joseph Edge, Georgia, Rick Hurley (Lisa), Montana, Donna Terracina (Joseph) and Brenda Cogar (Nick); and her sister Brenda. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that the memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
