He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Jones and Flora Alice Roland; his wives, Edith Jones and Fern I. Jones; his children, Terrie Peck, Theodore "Ted" Jones and Harry "Casey" A. Jones; and his grandson Darren Hayes.

He is survived by: his children, Tom (Darby), John (Jane), Richard (Connie), Robert (Teresa), James (Charlotte) and Katharine (Roger). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
