He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Huvar and Sophie Orsak Huvar; his sisters, Lorraine Thomas and Viola Counts; his grandson Christopher Shaun Huvar; and his wife Rubie Lee Hahn Huvar.
He is survived by: his children, Marty Huvar (Rene) of Brenham, Hollis Huvar (Susan) of Dixon, California, Blake Huvar of Dickinson, Texas, Ardis Kamenicky (Randy) of Brenham, Jason Huvar (Michelle) of Honolulu, Hawaii and Lorri Cales (Chad) of Brenham; his grandchildren, Eric Huvar (Sarah), Megan Callahan (Michael), Meggie Huvar, Matthew Huvar, Juli Ann Kamenicky, Elizabeth Marburger (Brock), Sarah Kamenicky, Anne-Marie Kamenicky, Jessica Cales, Emily Cales, Ian Cales and Bridgit Cales; his great grandchildren, Lily, Mackenzie, Bailey, Sadie, Jana and Adelynn Kay; his close friend Georgia Gavranovic; his nieces, Cheryl Thomas, Judy Rock and Sandy Helmcamp; and his grandson Kyle Huvar.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests masses to be offered for the repose of his soul.
