He was predeceased by: his mother Guadalupe Vargas; and his grandparents, Julian Aguilera, Blasa Lozano, Juan Vargas and Maria Luisa Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his father Desiderio Aguilera, Sr.; his son Michael Cruz Aguilera; his grandchildren, Aidan, Anneliese, Amelia and Anthony; his siblings, Alicia Cruz, Sylvia Ruiz, Oralia Sanchez, Juan Aguilera, Matilde Aguilera, Victor Aguilera, Rigoberto Aguilera, Herman Aguilera and Roland Aguilera; and also, Jacquelin, Arnaldo, Julian, Daniel, Danielle, Juliet, Sophia, Clarissa and Bella. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
