He was predeceased by: his father Alexander Balfour; and his daughter Khristy Balfour. He is survived by: his mother Phalor Balfour-Telschow; his wife Kim Balfour; his sister Brenda (James Beverly); his children, Cynthia (Justin Flanagan), Jennifer Balfour, Michael Landry Jr. and Brandon Balfour; and his grandchildren, Kesley, Kyndall Flanagan, Patrick Gentry, Jacob, Jayden and Alexis Landry.
