He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Karbowski and Flo Karbowski (Hart); his daughter Sherry Lynn; his brother Terry Karbowski; and his stepfather Joe Harkrider.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Karbowski of Santa Fe; his sons, Ken Karbowski of Santa Fe and Mike Karbowski (Alicia) of Danbury; his siblings, Julie Hensley (Nelson) of Wimberely and Doug Harkrider (Sharon) of Kemah; his uncle Paul Hart (Sondra) of Conroe; his grandchildren, Kelly Cook (Michael), Carmon Hartshorn (Kevin), Jake Karbowski, Reese Ryan and Allyn Nault (Cody); and his great grandchildren, Madison, Jackson Cook, Chase Jones, Ellie and Anderson Nault.
