It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Ashton (Dickinson, Texas), born in Belleville, Kansas, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Ashton and Bertha Ashton; his son Kent Ashton; his granddaughter Marissa Plumlee; and his sister-in-law Anita Dillwood.

He is survived by: his wife Liz Budler; his daughters, Kim Plumlee (Robert) of Stilwell, KS and Kris Kimbark of La Marque, TX; his granddaughter Veronica Plumlee (Derek) of Canal Winchester, OH; his daughters, Ashton Kimbark of La Marque, TX, Mary Kimbark (Miguel) of Galveston, TX and Nikki Kimbark of La Marque, TX; his brother Craig Ashton (Linda) of Topeka, KS; and his in-laws, Mike Budler (Mary), Cathy Martin (Jerry), South, Rose Wallman (Dave) of Lincoln, NE, Joe Budler (Jo) of Auburn, KS, Jeanne Budler of Hebron, NE, Marvin Dillwood of Lincoln, NE and Patricia Little (Timothy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends.
