He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Emmite and Annie Emmite (Scrofne); and his siblings, Joseph, Mike, Frank and Nancy.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Lena Rose Emmite (Barnett) and Sue Emmite (Ferguson); his nieces and nephews, Diane Hensley (Burl), Camille Emmite, Mary Ann Pierce (Gary), Joseph P. Emmite, Jr., Frank Salvatore Emmite (Amanda), Dana Watson (David), Michael Melancon and Kenneth Melancon; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kim Garcia (Jose), Patrick O'Neal, Darren O'Neal, Stacie Louise Ray (Larry), Travis Duane Pierce (Shannon), Jamie Nicole Martin (Bubba), Elisha Elaine Szanyi (Michael), Shallee Kaye Biondo (Jason) and Frank Anthony Emmite; and also, Kylie Ray, Emilia Biondo, Callen Ray, Macie Rae Martin, Paetyn Phillips, Keegan Pettus, Adelynn Szanyi, Dayton Pierce, Tyler Martin, Mason Phillips and Wesley Biondo. He is also survived by his family and friends, and he was so proud of his nieces and nephews.
