He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Aguilar and Genoveva Aguilar; and his siblings, Anita, Genoveva, Adela, Juana, Consuelo, Connie, Felix, Pedro, Jess, Santiago, Paul, Fernando, Armando and Fred.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Gabriel, Mia Aguilar and Rebecca Aguilar; his great grandchild Brooklyn Thomas; his sons, Andres (Yvette Aguilar), Gabriel (Cynthia Aguilar) and Raul (Monica Aguilar); and his brothers, Arturo and Julio.
