It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford Mayo of Dickens, Texas, born in Odell, Texas, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouse Willie Sue Townsend; and his daughters, Paulletta Lovett, Ann Hohner, Chador Red Thunder, Starla Jones and Aaronda Mayo-McCartney. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
