He was predeceased by: his father J. T. Capps, Sr.; and his brother William Thomas Capps. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Capps (Johnson) of Diboll; his mother Lillian Renfro of Diboll; his sisters-in-law, J. T., Jr., Paula Capps of Huntington, Jimmy Lee and Molly Capps of Fairview; and his sisters, Debbie Perkins of Galveston, Janet Lindsey of Lufkin and Judy Lee of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
