She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Odessa (Burns) and Henry McCollum; her husband Robert Sweet, Sr.; her son Robert Sweet, Jr.; and her siblings, Billy McCollum, Elmo McCollum, James McCollum, Dessie Langston and Ardell Holeman.
She is survived by: her children, Katharine Sweet (Roy Daniel), Kelly (Todd Morris), Brian Ray (Sherri Sweet) and Gregory Sweet of Houston; and her grandchildren, Michael Lynn Toole, Seth Morris, Sydney Morris, Gabriel Sweet and McKayla Sweet. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
