She is survived by: her husband Melvin Ray Thompson of Diboll; her children, Jessica Thompson of Diboll and Chip Thompson (Lupita Thompson) of Diboll; her grandchildren, Lexi Thompson of Diboll, Mason Thompson of Diboll and Savanna Thompson of Diboll; her mother-in-law Ruby Frances Thompson; her brother Larry; her sister-in-law Donna Jansen of Lufkin; her sister Alice; her brother-in-law Irvin McWilliams of Diboll; and her sister LaJahna. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shafer Funeral Home (600 N John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904-0353). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
