She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Smith, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Kroner; her husband Jerry Don Rains; her stepfather Joe Kroner; her sister-in-law Gaynell Smith; her sister Stevette Stephenson; and her pet Pepper.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Mize (Mary) of Hudson, TX, Tim Reynolds (Laura) of Diboll and Tammy Butler (Danny) of Marshall; her grandchildren, Ronin Mize, Rainey Mize, Tyler Reynolds and Aaron Jones; her brothers, Ralph Smith (Cynthia) of Dalton, GA, Lamar Smith of Diboll, TX, Ronnie Smith of Tennessee and Grady Smith, Jr. (Emelita) of Florida; and her pets, Booboo and Stormy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
