He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Finley and Izora Stubblefield Finley; his uncle John Fenley, Sr. of Lufkin, Texas.; his siblings, Donald Ray Finley, Maurine Finley-Vincent and Helen Finley-Arline; his son Robert Earl Mitchell; his uncle Lewis; and his aunt Ethel Stubblefield.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Ray Finley (LaTonya), Porter Finley of Diboll, Sharon Mitchell, Lakeshia Holman and Potoria Finley of Diboll, Texas.; his sisters, Queen Russaw and Vergie Hines (Isaac) of Diboll, Texas.; his nephews, Wesley and Wade Finley of Diboll, Texas.; and his niece Cynthia Finley of Diboll, Texas.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
