He is survived by: his wife Paula Luera of Diboll; his children, Jesse Luera of Diboll, Sandra Reyes (Faustino) of Diboll, Sonya Sarmiento (Feliberto) of Lufkin, Patricia Cazares (Antonio) of Corrigan and Jenny Childs (Jim) of Corrigan; his grandchildren, Jaquilyn, Rafael, Joe, Mike, Gino, Ashley, Eddie, Michelle, Cole, Humberto, Victor, Erika, Heather, Patricia, Adolf, Jessica and Selena; and his siblings, Oscar Luera, Linda Cabrera and Janie Andaverde. He is also survived by 43 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
