She was predeceased by: her parents, Katie Louise (Mettlen) and Lewis Thomas Cullum; her husband Vernon Theron Swallows, Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Elsie and Vernon Swallows, Sr..
She is survived by: her son Cody Swallows; her grandsons, Noah Swallows and Thomas Swallows; her brother Tommy; her sister-in-law Cindy Cullum; and her stepmother Joyce Cullum. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carroway Funeral Home (2704 S John Redditt Dr, Lufkin, TX 75904). A graveside service was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
