She was predeceased by: her mother Maria Guadalupe Cantero; her husband David A. Castillo; and her children, Andreita Pena and Carlos Castillo. She is survived by: her daughters, Lilia Acevedo (Carlos), Ruby Whisenant, Diana Tamez (Orlando), Juanita Hilario (Angel) and Sonia Castillo. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
