Marc J Weintraut Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marc Jerome Weintraut, who passed away in his home at the age of 74, on June 24, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on July 27, 2024 from noon-4pm at Saint Giuseppes Pizza in East Moline, IL.
Marc was born on March 29, 1950 in Oakland, California, the son of Donald and Eva Kofsky Weintraut.
Marc attended and graduated from Moline High School in 1968. He enjoyed Sunday Football, listening to music, playing cards, and playing his harmonica. Marc worked at Pilgrim Poultry where he had many friends.
Survivors include his siblings Eric (Patty) Weintraut, East Moline, IL; Janet (Jim) Michaelsen, Tempe, AZ; Philip (Zelda) Weintraut, Payson, AZ; Elizabeth Morrissey, Moline, IL; Barbara (Ronald) Zbleski, Davenport, IA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brothers Matt and Greg.
Though Marc’s journey in this life is over, we know he is at peace amongst those that went before him and he will always be in our hearts.
