He is survived by: his wife Emma Lee Smith (James); his sons, Joe Henry Smith (Diane) and Bill Smith; his grandsons, Joe Henry Smith, Jr. (Alisha) and Michael Smith (Melinda); and his great grandchildren, Hannah Cook, Brianna Smith, Declan Smith and Brittyn Smith. He is also survived by grandchild; and numerous nephews and nieces.
