He was predeceased by: his parents, Odessa Morton (Griffin) and Albert Houston Morton; his daughters, Rebecca Morton and Carla Morton; his grandson Kyle Obier; and his brother Edward Morton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Morton of Lufkin; his son Gary; his daughter-in-law Kelli Morton of Troup; his daughters, Lauryn Morton of Lufkin, Marti Spence of Huffman, Cristi Dauchenbaugh of Crosby, Melinda Morton of Humble, Gail Obier of Lampassas and JoAnna Coleman of Florida; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily, Jennifer, Stephani, Katelyn, Kourtney and Kiele; and his great grandchildren, Haiden, Landon, Rhett and Adelyn.
