He is survived by: his wife Gloria Martinez of Diboll; his children, Maria Del Pilar Garcia and Javier Martinez, Jr.; his wife Cecilia Garcia; his grandchildren, Edgar Garcia, Adrian Martinez, Briana Garcia, Brisa Garcia, Xavier Martinez, Alicia Martinez, Khloe Martinez, Kyndall Martinez, Cristina Garcia, Abigahil Garcia, Ricardo Garcia, Jr. and Alejandro Castilleja; his siblings, Abelino Martinez, David Martinez, Eva Martinez, Agustin Martinez, Eduardo Martinez, Hugo Martinez, Moises Martinez, Guillermina Martinez, Lillia Martinez, Martha Martinez and Maria Martinez; and also Daisy Garcia (Ricardo). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
