It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Ruth Wilkerson of Diboll, Texas, who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Woodrome and Rachel Kraus Woodrome of Chester, Texas.; her husband Burlon Wilkerson; her sister Sibyl; and her brother-in-law Rae Trammell of Chester.

She is survived by: her children, Trey Wilkerson and Michele Wilkerson of Diboll; her grandchildren, Annabeth and Ryan; her children, Dr. Krista Wilkerson of San Antonio, Melanie and Greg Blakeslee of Marquez; her grandchildren, Jake, Neely, Jessica and Jamie; her brother Don; and her sister-in-law Sadie Woodrome of Chester. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
