It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Jenkins of Diboll, Texas, born in Beaumont, Texas, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Jenkins (Conn) and Don Hugh Jenkins; his former wife Martha Jean Jenkins; and his nephew Shane Boynton. He is survived by: his wife Donnie Jenkins (Chumley) of Diboll, Texas; his son Dr. Jerry Hugh Jenkins (Ashley) of Hudson, Texas; his stepsons, Don Chumley (Charlene) of Nacogdoches and Dan Chumley (Carla) of Douglass, Texas; his grandson Levi Jack Jenkins; his stepgrandchildren, Grey Chumley, Jenni Chumley, Sarah Heavner, Julia Grimm, Claire Chumley and Doug Chumley; his sister Roseann Boynton of Houston, Texas; and his nephews, Brett Boynton, Donny Boynton and Robert Alexander. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
