He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Clifton Tobias and Helen Elizabeth Tobias (Reynolds); his siblings, Patricia Pollard and Benjamin Tobias; his son Stetson Hunter Tobias; and his siblings, Max Jr. and Elizabeth Perry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stacy Tobias of Lufkin and April; his son-in-law Chester Christoph of Lufkin; his children, Dillon Tobias of Burke, Amy Allen of Lufkin and Heather; his son-in-law Andrew Kee of Lufkin; his son Chad Hoss Tobias of Burke; his grandchildren, Kaylyn (Ethan Haltom) of Lufkin, Breinon Tobias of Lufkin, Jace Christoph of Lufkin, Coy Christoph of Lufkin and Ayla Tobias of Burke; his brother Johnny; his sister-in-law Vivian Tobias of Alto; his sister Annelle; his brother-in-law Roger Johnson of Apple Springs; and his sister Darlene Stone of Rockwall. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
