He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Oretha (Norris) and William Algie Madison Kilgore; and his daughter Mona Adams. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Lee Kilgore of Diboll; his children, Norma Sanford (Raymond) of Diboll, Algie Lee Kilgore, Jr. (Marieda) of Montgomery, Roger Kilgore (April) of Diboll and Leslie Kilgore (Amy) of Corrigan; his son-in-law Fox Adams; and his grandsons, Jacob Sanford, Jaydon Sanford, Nathan Sanford, Christopher Kilgore, Jackson Kilgore, Cooper Kilgore and Tyler Sanford. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel (1515 S Chestnut St, Lufkin, TX 75901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jones Prairie Cemetery (1138 FM 942, Leggett, TX 77350).
