He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Padilla and Celia Padilla (Aerrola). He is survived by: his daughters, Nora Banuelos of Diboll and Celia; his son-in-law Gumaro Mandoza of Lufkin; his son Alfredo; his daughter-in-law Gricelda Padilla Jr. of Lufkin; his children, Alfonso Padilla of Diboll and Noelia; his son-in-law Gilberto Grimaldo of Diboll; his daughter Maria; his son-in-law Jamie Gonzalez of Diboll; his son Adrian Padilla of Diboll; his son-in-law Rodolfo Aguilar of Houston; his sister-in-law Maria Padilla of Diboll; and his sisters, Alicia Garcia of Rio Bravo, Mexico., Maria of Rio Bravo, Mexico. and Refujio Del Bosque of Rio Bravo, Mexico.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; brother.
