He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Williams Hays; his children, Eren D'Lynn Hays and Ryan Hays (Christina) of Broken Arrow; his grandchildren, Zane, Ian, Ryann Nicole, Wyatt, Aidan and Noah; and his aunt Betty Daniel of Fort Worth.

Donations are being made to the Texas Pythian Home in Weatherford.
