With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jesse Joe Contreras of Diana, Texas, born in San Marcos, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Contreras and Lucia Garza Contreras; and his brothers, Edward and George Contreras. He is survived by: his wife Diana Gonzalez Contreras; his children, Christopher Contreras and Vanessa Matallana; his son-in-law Cesar Matallana; his grandchildren, Isabella, Mya Contreras and Evan Matallana; his stepgrandsons, Jonathan Matallana and Tristan Matallana; and his siblings, Linda Gutierrez, John and Charles Contreras.
