He was predeceased by: his father Homer George Floerke; his stepfather Jim Beck; and his brother Kent Floerke. He is survived by: his mother Emily Doris Zinsmeyer of D'Hanis; and his siblings, George Floerke of Hondo, Dorothy Floerke of Hondo, Denise Dale (John) of D'Hanis, Mary Bernal of Hondo and Lois Ann Ulbrich (Rusty) of D'Hanis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
